Over the past year it's safe to say I've become a huge jalapeno fan. There is nothing better than adding the kick of jalapeno into any recipe...especially pickled jalapenos. Oh wait, pickled jalapenos on a Bahn Mi sandwich...on braised pork tacos...or on crackers with goat cheese! Dang...so many options.
You can pickle jalapenos in three easy steps:
- Slice jalapenos, garlic, and onions...I added carrots for color.
- Heat white vinegar, peppercorns and salt. Heat till salt dissolves then simmer.
- Put sliced jalapenos, garlic, and onions with pickling liquid into mason jar then refrigerate.
