Great service, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming staff...are those the characteristics you look for when eating at new restaurant???

Heck Yeah!

Kyatchi is a Minneapolis restaurant inspired by Japanese cuisine. Created for the Mpls. Kingfield and Lyndale neighborhoods—right next to Uptown and Eat Street—Kyatchi is the creation of Kim Bartmann, Sarah Peterson, Sam Peterson, Chef Hide Tozawa, and Anne Saxton.

Kyatchi is committed to plating up sustainable ingredients—especially with a focus on sustainable fish and seafood—in both traditional Japanese and new American ways. They are associated with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch, which is a program that empowers consumers and businesses to make choices for healthy oceans. (www.kyatchi.com, 2015)

The owner recommended a few other hot spots I should try...she's the best!
